The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office officially opened it’s new training center last week.

The facility, located at 284 Dallas Industrial Drive in Dallas, boasts a state-of-the-art 20-lane pistol firing range.

There are plans to build a 400-yard rifle range, a live fire “shoot house”,  a shotgun range, an obstacle course, a rappelling tower, a K-9 agility course, and a classroom/office building.

“Once all phases of this training center have been completed, it will be a state of the art facility and will not only train our deputies, but it will train law enforcement officers from all over this region how to better do their job,” said Sheriff Gary Gulledge.
