Snow in metro Atlanta: Pavement temps still above freezing around ATL
Pavement temperatures remained above freezing around most of metro Atlanta as of 6:10 p.m. Wednesday, except in a few spots to the north of the city.
Here’s a sampling of some of the pavement sensor readings from the Georgia Department of Transportation:
- I-85 at Jimmy Carter Boulevard: 34 degrees
- I-85 at Old Peachtree Road: 31.5
- I-75 at South Marietta Parkway: 38.3 degrees
- GA 400 at Holcomb Bridge Road: 32.5 degrees
- GA 400 at GA 60 (Dahlonega): 31.1 degrees
- I-285 at Moreland Avenue: 35.4 degrees
- I-20 at Panola Road: 37.8 degrees
- I-285 at Donald Lee Holowell Parkway: 37 degrees
- I-75 at 10th Street: 34.5 degrees
- I-75 at Ga. 140 (Adairsville): 31.3
