About 30 people have started standing across street from Manuel’s.

Matt Owensby, 30, who works at the nearby Videodrome store, said secret service came in last night to let them know the road would be closed from 2 to 4 today.

“We came to rubberneck,” he said. “I’m concerned about the nations dwindling supply of video stores. ”

He added, “it’s our block too. ”

Michelle Dixey, 31, said her apartment building nearby posted notices that the road would be closed.

She saw officials setting up a security tent behind the bar last night.

“I’m pretty excited especially since they are going to rebuild Manuel’s. It’s good to get him in between changes. ”
