Six Georgia school districts were named among the nation’s top places for music education, according to National Association of Music Merchants Foundation.
The group recognizes districts where teachers, administrators, parents, students and community leaders have made a commitment to making music education part of the curriculum. The program looks at funding, staffing of highly qualified teachers, commitment to standards and access to music instruction and selection is led by researchers at the Center for Public Partnerships and Research at The University of Kansas.
