Atlanta schools convicted educator Tamara Cotman sentenced to serve 7 years in prison

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Jerry Baxter sentenced former Atlanta Public Schools educator Tamara Cotman to serve 7 years in prison for her role in the test-cheating scandal.

Cotman, a former school reform team executive director for APS, was found guilty of racketeering in the test-cheating trial.

Baxter also ordered her to perform 2,000 hours of community service and pay a $25,000 fine.
