Holiday travel and fans heading to Braves and Hawks games created gridlock around metro Atlanta thi7traffics afternoon. But by 7 p.m., the roadways had cleared and green roadways could be see on the Ga. Navigator traffic map, indicating rolling roadways. Of course, this is a quiet moment as traffic will pick us as the fans leave games and others out for the evening head home.

Saturday, is expected to be another busy day on the roadways as this Memorial Day weekend was forecast to be the heaviest for traffic in 10 years.
