The Atlanta Braves game is in a rain delay, but there’s good news — you probably weren’t going to get there on time anyway.

Shortly after 7 p.m., a crash was reported on I-85 southbound before I-75 and the Downtown Connector. Traffic was already jammed thanks to normal rush hour drivers, the 8 p.m. Rolling Stones concert at Georgia Tech’s Bobby Dodd Stadium and the Braves’ home tilt against the San Diego Padres.

At about 7:10 p.m., The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s David O’Brien tweeted that the Braves’ game was in a delay.

“No word yet on start time, not raining but tarp on field in anticipate of water falling from sky,” O’Brien wrote.

Storms rolled through Atlanta earlier in the late afternoon.
