Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful is seeking a new leader.
Connie Wiggins, who has led the organization since 1985, will retire as president and executive director. She’ll stay with the organization until March to help the new director with the transition.
“I am so proud of what we accomplished over the past three decades,” Wiggins said in a statement. “We have a strong and involved Board of Directors, a dedicated staff and an entire community of committed volunteers who support our work.”
Bartow Morgan, chairman of the group’s board, said Wiggins’ vision has left Gwinnett Clean and Beautiful in good shape for the future.
A search committee for Wiggins’ replacement will be led by Ethel Andersen at the law firm Andersen Tate & Carr.
